Our COVID-19 Safety Plan

To our valued patients,

We are pleased to confirm that we will be re-opening on Monday, June 1. We are deeply appreciative for your patience as we worked out all of the safety precautions prior to re-opening.

In order to ensure that your health and safety are protected, we have implemented several mitigation strategies in our procedures:

  1. Increased cleaning protocol: we have always prided ourselves on having a meticulously clean and sanitary facility, but even so, we have increased our cleaning protocol. Our intention is to make sure any potential surface for transmission of disease is sanitized at any point at which transmission could occur.

  2. Screening questionnaire: When you book an appointment, you will receive a COVID-19 screening questionnaire 36 hours before your appointment which you are required to complete according to the BC College of Physiotherapists and the BC College of Massage Therapists. We know that emails can be annoying (!) and sometimes forgotten so we will follow up with you by telephone if you don't complete the survey online. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in answering the screening questions!

  3. Elimination of a waiting room: On the day of your appointment, please wait in your vehicle or outside of the building until 2 minutes prior to the start of your scheduled appointment. Once a room is sanitized and ready, the front desk staff or your practitioner will guide you from the clinic entrance directly to your assigned room.

  4. Complimentary face masks: Upon your arrival at the clinic, your practitioner will offer you a face mask to wear during your session. You are welcome to bring your own mask if you prefer.

  5. Sanitization: We have a hand washing station set up for both clients and practitioners to use. You are welcome to wash your hands before and after your appointment. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible so don't be shy about using our hand washing station!

  6. Social distancing: we are asking clients and staff to remain aware of social distancing protocol in common areas throughout the clinic. This means leaving 6 feet between yourself and another individual. The exception to this would be between practitioners and clients during treatment within the private treatment rooms.

  7. Contactless check-out: At the end of your appointment, the credit card on your file will be charged and a receipt will be emailed to you. We will only be accepting credit cards at this time. We ask that you ensure the credit card on your file is up to date prior to attending your appointment.

  8. Directional traffic: When leaving the clinic your practitioner will guide you to exit through the side door of the clinic to prevent cross-traffic through the front clinic entrance. The floors are clearly marked with directional signage so you don't get lost :)

  9. No charge cancellation policy: Finally, if you book an appointment and feel sick at any point leading up to your scheduled appointment, please stay home. We will not charge you for cancellations. Simply send us an email and we'll cancel your appointment for you.

It's our goal to provide a space for you to feel healthy and recovered. If at any point you have questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us at info@deltahealthperformance.com so that we can improve your experience. We're here for you!

Yours in health,

Delta Health & Performance Clinic
