CHIROPRACTIC THERAPY
Chiropractors focus on spinal and joint manipulation to improve your range of motion and your body's physical function. An adjustment can relieve pain, correct your body's alignment and improve overall function. Low back pain, neck pain and headaches are the most common problems for which people seek chiropractic adjustment.
WHAT IS CHIROPRACTIC CARE?
"A hands-on, non-invasive, and drug-free practice that:
-
safely and effectively helps relieve pain and improve the body’s overall function;
-
uses various treatments depending on your needs, from manual ‘hands-on’ adjustment techniques to soft tissue therapy.
A chiropractor may improve your overall health and wellness."

CHIROPRACTIC CARE FOR ATHLETES
Our chiropractors do a comprehensive history and physical examination and can help assess, diagnose, and determine the cause of your pain. In addition to receiving hands-on adjustments and soft tissue therapy, you can also expect to receive individualized exercises and/or lifestyle advice to restore proper function and enhance healing of damaged tissue, ultimately reducing pain and supporting your return to sport.
Our chiropractors work with our integrated sports medicine team to determine the best strategy for return to play.
Traditionally, chiropractors are perceived as being spine, muscle and nervous system experts, however, they can also act as emergency care providers, pre-participation examiners and sports injury specialists. Our chiropractor works with our other health professionals and strength coaches to best support an athlete's return to play.
